Who am I?
My name is Matt and I’m 15 years old. I live just outside of London in the UK in a small town called Bromley. I go to school at Dulwich College and I have been there for five years now and I have just sat my GCSE exams in eleven different subjects and I will start my A-levels in September in maths, physics, chemistry and geography. My GCSE results will be released at the end of August and hopefully I have done well!
What do I do with my life?
I have many hobbies, including photography, sailing, hockey, music, traveling and more. I am also involved with the scouts at my school which regularly organises trips all over the UK and abroad. I have been involved in four summer camps, ranging from North Devon to Yorkshire, and won two of them, one time as a patrol leader. At the start of the year I went to Bruges in Belgium for a long weekend break with the Explorers (the older group of scouts) and later this year I am going hill walking in the Lake District. I am also visiting Dublin with the Explorers in October.
I am a big fan of the Kaiser Chiefs and Coldplay, and I went to a Kaiser Chiefs concert at Wembley arena about a year ago with my family which was amazing! The atmosphere was amazing and we all had a really good time. I also play the piano and last summer I passed my grade 5 exam and I will be taking grade 6 soon.
Why am I here?
Well there are many reasons, but the most important reason is probably that I got so bored sitting around at home because I had just finished my GCSEs and had a really, really long holiday to fill which I only really half filled (it was actually half empty). And so I had a very long amount of time doing pretty much nothing apart from sitting at home doing pretty much nothing. In order to fill this time doing pretty much nothing I decided to start a blog and so here I am.
